What is Mindfulness?
Mindfulness is awareness that arises through paying attention in the present moment, on purpose and without judgement. Mindfulness moves us away from a thinking-based way of living, taking us out of autopilot to being connected and engaged with our present experience and not overly reactive or overwhelmed by what's going on around us. It also brings awareness to our patterns and behaviours, empowering us to reclaim power of our thoughts and actions. Did you know that we can use mindfulness to actually rewire our brains!
There are many studies to show the effectiveness of mindfulness and more than 10,000 published research papers available on mindfulness-based therapy.
